Anglo/Austrian folk-rock Two Ways Home return with new single “Just For Now”

Anglo / Austrian group Two Ways Home return with the release of their infections new single ‘Just For Now’.

‘Just For Now’ is the first track to be taken from the brand new ‘Better Days’ EP, released on 30 October 2015. Produced by mixer, producer, engineer MsM (Royksopp, Ed Sheeran, The Saturdays), the tracks were recorded at The Doghouse in Henley-on-Thames, the studio owned by Jethro Tull drummer Barrie Barlow.

Vocalist and autoharp/ukulele specialist Isabella Mariee said: “It was hard not to feel the energy that the place gives off. Just chatting to Barrie in the breaks, consuming the studios stories, soaking up the feel of the wooden building by the river, you just can’t help but let that creativity seep into your music. I think we all felt it and to this day it has given us even more drive to perform.

Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Lewis Fowler from the tiny Cotswold village of Draycott, Oxfordshire and Isabella Mariee, who was born in Vienna, Austria, founded Two Ways Home. Growing up on a diet of Simon and Garfunkel, Prince, Led Zeppelin, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder to name just a few, the music future of Two Ways Home was never a sure thing. However as the vocal harmonies of Lewis and Isabella combined for the first time destiny took a hand. But it was a desire to hone their skills as songwriters and learn from the best that led them to a career defining four-week pilgrimage to Nashville in 2013. Never before had the advice and kindness of strangers meant so much, they experienced the true spirit and support of Nashville. Two Ways Home lived the Nashville circuit and were welcomed with open arms.

The perfect harmonies created by the combination of female and male voices and the uptempo beats mixed with a flavour of american folk and country jazz, make the music of Two Ways Home a pleasurable listen and an entertaining soundtrack that will hopefully cheer up our days of through the gloomy British winter.

Two Ways Home are: Isabella Mariee (Vocals, Ukulele, Autoharp), Lewis Fowler (Vocals, Guitars), Chris Brice (Drums, Percussion), Raymond Tognola (bass) and Adam East (Guitars).
