Acclaimed violinist Anna Phoebe has thrilled audiences all over the world with wild performances with acts such as Jon Lord, Ian Anderson, Roxy Music and Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Today though, with longtime collaborator, guitarist Nicolas Rizzi, she presents an earth-shatteringly beautiful rendition of Christmas carol ‘Silent Night’. An alternative to the mainstream Christmas tunes blasting from the wireless, their sweeping take on the classic is melancholic yet warm with simple acoustic guitar and layered violins and one that will no doubt cause pause for reflection.

The track is available as a free download from 4pm today and throughout the weekend via Anna’s website then on general release from Monday 15th December from all the usual channels.
