Introducing Canadian Indie Band ALVVAYS

Alvvays (pronounced Always) is a Canadian five piece from Toronto, Ontario bursting of contagious, high-spirited surf rock.
They are the perfect accompaniment to home videos shot on 8mm film, for carelessness, youth and letting go and for days spent lazing at the beach.
It’s fuzzy, reverbed and effortless. Full of synth, drums and guitar, fighting the urge to dance is near impossible. You’re going to want to put this on repeat this summer.

Kat Harlton is the founder of The Harlton Empire and a Canadian media liaison with expertise in music promotion,social media and public relations. In the past 5 years, she has worked with some of the most talented artists in the Toronto music scene, and booked and/or co-promoted shows at some of Toronto’s best venues. Kat holds a diploma in Theatre Arts from Fanshawe College and is an active volunteer for numerous local Toronto causes and organizations.
