Jocelyn Brown Live @ the Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival

Score: 8/10

Jocelyn Brown‘s voice is well known to most of Soul Jazz lovers and for her astonishing touches on some of the most successful dance music hits. Although her voice does sound great on records, her live performances are simply mind blowing against all expectations. The Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival this year opened with a live show that had Jocelyn going through some of the most popular soul hits, from “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” to “Always There”, with vocals that sound from another planet.
