Zara McFarlane Live @ XOYO in London

Zara McFarlane live at XOYO Photos by Oscar Tornincasa http://photoblog.oskaro.it for rebelrebelmusic.com

Score: 8.5/10

When Zara McFarlane opens her mouth and starts singing, pure silky gold falls upon the audience. The crystal clear voice, the perfect technique, a good amount of charm and an incredible line-up of talented musicians enchanted the crowd on wednesday February 12, when she walked on stage at the XOYO in London, just after Diggs Duke – you’ll hear a lot about him – warmed up the waiting public with an enjoyable, very original music style that is his very own.

Zara and her ensemble performed several tracks from her new album “If You Knew Her” and was joined on stage by worldwide acclaimed percussionist Manu Delago who played the hang on “Open Heart”.

The concert was one of those jazz events you wish they never ended, so since Zara is still touring around UK and Europe, so it is highly recommended not to miss any of her show whenever she hits a city around you. No wonder she’s opening for Jazzanova next April.
